    Tame Impala tore through a 50 minute set of their infectious psych rock at Glasslands last night to finish their string of NYC dates. They were surprisingly young and we were impressed with their tight set with a few extended jams.  They can easily fill a larger venue and we imagine we’re not going to be able to see them in such an intimate venue for a while.

  4. Caribou at Music Hall of Williamsburg 5/7/2010 (by Dave Surgan) One of my favorite live bands, Caribou has a strong focus on percussion with the right mix of samples and live instrumentation. You never feel like they are playing to a backing track with samples leading the way.
